BOTH OF THESE BOOKS SHOULD BE MANDATORY FOR ARTISTS not on some weird dogma theyre just that useful I checked out imaginative realism so many times from the library in high school one of the librarians just let me keep it. I think it helped that no one else reserved it for like 2 years before me

More to say on burnout and I'm probably going to boost it a few times because folks need to hear it:

Burnout is a form of brain damage. It happens when stress conditions persist until they damage our brains.

It's an injury that needs to heal, not a weakness that needs to be pushed through.

This is a very good visual for how talking about artists helps us. If you’ve commissioned, bought from or worked with an artist, please talk about it. It helps us a lot.

especially around holidays, small shops not only might not have the manpower to compensate for the workload but shipping companies are SWAMPED. your package is in the same shit as everything else sent via DHL, UPS etc. have patience & remember worldwide logistics aren't the shops fault :)
