One of the worst intentions of AI isn’t the obvious, slop-from-the-start generations that nevertheless harm artists.

It’s the “editing 5% of an otherwise 95% truth” to create & send a completely different message than before.

Because for most, something is either true or not, without in-betweens.

Please do not normalize the use of generative AI. I understand we have to use AI in various forms because it has been imposed upon us.
But gen AI is different, you choose to use it. And in its current form gen ai is a negative for society and robs you of your ability to make things for yourself.

Knowing how much destruction it does to people and the environment, seeing someone use gen ai in their pfp just really gives me the ick.
