The Cat-5-of-ninetails.
Esprit de Corps 2026 complete. Thanks to everyone who attended, I had a blast and hope you did too.
Now to poke my bruises and sleep for a week.
Until next year!
Rush job but I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, modular bootblack stand/podium; needed it for EdC next weekend. #bootblack
Same, I've got the two, and this is the one that is more me lol.
Arbitrarily low rate limits are stupid. Yes I know you don't want someone nuking your API from orbit, but I need to process more than 20 PATCH per minute -.- I even asked nicely. *Grumbles in 1400ms delay*

I've asked myself the same question several times. I keep waiting for the UI/UX to get some love.
It was a good night ๐
I found what appears to be a retail copy though Stockroom.com if you're looking to add to your collection.
It's doing great!! The arms in particular are ๐ฅ in this shot.

I'm actually kind of curious how many are in the pilot. Does it really feel like a ground up rebuild?
I'm torn on how this reads to me (too long in customer facing engineering I guess). Part of me takes it as "thanks for filing an RFE" but the other side takes it as "we're not telling anyone because we don't really know either". Hopefully they are earnest about taking feedback.
In my memory the look and feel hasn't significantly changed since it was website only. Wonder if the architecture is really so rickety that they couldn't port that particular feature to the new version. It was one of the things that kinda made sense.
Also online ticket purchasing for any relevant events, will call tickets, and more as we get it rolled out.
From the administrative side they collectively pay the clubs membership dues to organizations to which the club belongs and members reap benefits where applicable because of it. (Usage of private sites as members for example, or at discounted rates.)
As a not-for-profit ours are $100 annually for full members. This nets you member pricing on all ticketed events at a private (rented) space (at least 1/mo), social events, and our annual run. When we had a leather shop it got you discounts there.
It's already been a year since I accepted my collar and it seems like far less. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family @sirbuddydfw.bsky.social; happy "collaraversary". ๐ฅฐ๐
Dear today,
No thank you, please try back tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Me
End of a busy club weekend (perils of being a board member). Finally done with club business and winding down. Looked at my maps and saw due to a wreck my commute home would have been 1h 45m. To @thedallaseagle.com it is!
It looks great in rubber; gym time paying dividends! ๐ฅ
Me to AI: "Tell me about this thing"
AI: **does**
Me to AI: "Did you make that up?"
AI "Yes ๐"
Very true, unfortunately.
This is the one reason I miss traveling so much for work. I was Hilton Diamond and had miles for free flights basically anywhere inside a year.
Docker is a great tool, I've got several containers running but it definitely took me a bit. Yaml files are my bane.
You should be sure to celebrate meeting those goals here (for science)!
