I missed this earlier today: one of Michigan’s two Republican justices announced her retirement today. Gretchen Whitmer will appoint her replacement.
That will likely bring Democrats’ majority on this key court to 6-1.
And as a flying individual, I’m frankly petrified to get in the air (which I have to do for work)
