I am not promoting it as much as I did last year but any support of my work here or on Patreon would be appreciated. Patreon.com/katelynburns
Yo brotha is smort!
I do apologize to any non-racist people (and especially to any non-racist disabled people) who were hurt or offended by what I said in those initial tweets. I do wish that I had communicated my thoughts more clearly.
Smooches,
Yvie ๐
I am a Black woman, and I am extending him A TON of grace on this. He is still a white man. It is absolutely possible that he can have Tourette's AND be racist, but it is because of his disability that I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and not saying he is racist even tho what he did was.
I never actually said anything ableist, especially not about John Davidson (whose Tourette's syndrome caused him to yell the n-word at several Black attendees on stage.)
I NEVER called him names. And I NEVER suggested that he should be "segregated", excluded, "muzzled", or mistreated in any way.
I agree that the first tweets (esp. w/o the context of the quoted tweet I was responding to) is worded poorly.
I meant that a white man shouting the n-word at Black people has perpetuated racism and subjected Black people to it. I will not accept that it's not racism just because he has Tourette's.
Screenshot from Twitter showing full context of tweets from user @AdamantxYves in the wake of the BAFTA Awards where John Davison (a white Scottish man who had Tourette's sunstone with coprolalia) yelled slurs at several attendees. CONTEXT: After having been harassed by masses of white people, she responded to a tweet that basically said that calling what Michael B. Jordan, Hannah Beachler, Delroy Lindo and others (including Black audience members and Black viewers) experienced that night racism makes Black people ableist. The screenshotted tweets (all from Yves) read as follows: Tweet 1 - February 22nd, 2026, 7:16pm EST: And if my choices are "Accept racism or you're ableist", then I'm ableist. Fuck it. You cannot call me the n-word for any reason. I will not accept Tourette's (or dementia or Alzheimer's, etc) as an excuse for that. I simply won't. Go to hell. Tweet 2 - February 22nd, 2026, 11:03pm EST: A lot of you have reading comprehension problems. I said IF my choices are "Accept racism or you're ableist". Y'all are the ones giving me that ultimatum. Stop making those my only two options, and I'll stop choosing the one you don't like. There are other options, yes? Tweet 3 - February 22nd, 2026, 11:03pm EST: I refuse to coddle this white man AT THE EXPENSE OF TWO BLACK MEN who were subjected to racism tonight. Stop demanding empathy from me that you refuse to extend yourself. You should be able to advocate for this man and his Tourette's without handwaving racism, but you don'tโฆ.

The screenshotted tweets (all from Yves) read as follows: Tweet 1 - February 23rd, 2026, 1:02am EST: And let's be clear, that man's racism affected those two Black men tonight, but look at the trickle-down effect. It is now impacting us here too because we now have to deal with all of you racists gaslighting and attacking us on his behalf. Tweet 2 - February 23rd, 2026, 8:04am EST: Intent doesn't matter. I didn't call him racist, but he did subject two Black men and every Black witness to racism. His disability contextualizes that racism, but it does not justify or nullify it. As far as I know, he has not used it to excuse or dismiss it, so why are you? Tweet 3 - February 23rd, 2026, 9:57am EST: Is it weird that so many of the people who are pretending to champion disabled people are also calling people the r-word? Is it also weird that they are dismissing the racism that occurred while also calling us the n-word? ๐ค
After the BAFTAs, hordes of white people were mobbing Black people telling us that we must either deny that racism occurred or be called ableist. I finally got frustrated and said "Then fuck it, I guess I'm ableist then."
I do wish I'd chosen my words more carefully, but I do not regret snapping.
LMAO!

If David Lynch was still alive, I would ask him if Twin Peaks is a metaphor for breasteses. I feel like he's not above titty puns, right?
Lemme get my Mariah on!

Today is the 4 year anniversary of my first gender-affirming surgery!
I hate that like 24 hour period after your estrogen injection where everything tastes.... like estrogen. I can't explain it, but everything just tastes weird.
One thing I like about getting older is knowing for a fact that people back in the day WERE against whatever thing you're trying to retroactively excuse.
This is the GPN- the Ghetto Psychic Network. I'm your host Alotta Vagina.
Who has that clip of Patti LaBelle in her home with a bunch of people singing around her piano and doing ad-libs to "Somebody Loves You Baby"?
I think Tyrese was in it?
You a grown ass man. Unshave your dick.

i love watching black people of the diaspora try soul food
I would love to change the word for W. I hate that all the other letters are monosyllabic, but that one has THREE syllables.... and one of them is another letter!
(See also: 7. Numbers 1-10 should only have one syllable.)
I deserve dick.
I don't want any right now, but I know what I deserve.
A post: "Leftists believe campaigning against a fascist with the Cheneys is an unforgivable sin, but holding a grinning photo-op with said fascist is the best thing ever"
For the first time, a US politician used the platform of the oval office to call out Israeli genocide and US complicity in that genocide, and centrists are confused about why folks have more grace for him than they do for someone who enthusiastically and materially supported that genocide.
We did no such thing.
What is worse than genocide?
No one believed that.
