This is no longer (maybe never was) about “securing our borders.” It feels dishonest to keep calling it that because POTUS is calling it that. He is lying & the press shouldn’t play along.

We must ensure that the federal budget does not include expanded resources for ICE operations in our communities. If that means we have to shut it down…then shut it down.

Yesterday, David Huerta, a champion for SEIU workers across California and a friend, was detained and injured by ICE while exercising his first amendment right.

No one in our country should be subjected to harm for legally & peacefully protesting. David should be released from custody immediately.
