Amazing! I know I would’ve loved to see REM back then. I missed out on so many shows. In 1987, my grandma took me to the 2nd concert I ever saw, Paul Simon’s Graceland tour w/ African players: Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Ray Phiri, Ladysmith Black Mambazo & Bakithi Kumalo. That def influenced me.

Tell me some of the best concerts you’ve seen.The Art Ensemble of Chicago got me into avant-garde jazz; I saw them often. OG members: Mitchell, Jarman, Bowie, Favors, Moye sometimes brought 100 instruments on stage; percussion forests, bicycle horns, and other found objects. Incredible theatrics.
