An image that developed two scenes on itself. On the left, a child in a blue hoodie and colorful helmet rides a bike, and on the right, the silhouette of a child in pigtails is having curlers put in her hair by the silhouette of her mother who is standing in front of a sliding glass door that looks out to a backyard.
Somewhere deep in two memories I am learning to ride a bike and my hair is being pulled into curlers and I feel it most, I think, in my scalp. My mother's fingers. Pulling, pulling, long seconds of pulling. The air smells like summer, probably, or maybe fall. The grass is green, and my brothers are young, too. Overdeveloped and flashing together, the light screaming through the trees. I miss the love of this place. When the air felt like I can go anywhere I want to.
I wrote a poem today. It's been a long time.

Friends and I are trying to lock down the top 500 songs of all time, and I'm making a Spotify playlist. What are your picks?

School, by Mary Oliver. You're like a little wild thing that was never sent to school. Sit, I say, and you jump up. Come, I say, and you go galloping down the sand to the nearest dead fish with which you perfume your sweet neck. It is summer. How many summers does a little dog have? Run, run, Percy. (In italics) This is our school.

Will posting this image daily suffice?
One goal I have this year is not adding caveats to genuine expressions for fear of seeming corny or overly sentimental
However I would be interested to see if you use the VPN to access the app store and then create a new account associated with a different country π§ someone has probably already tried this but idk
NOOO. A VPN won't work but hopefully they'll put it back on the app store if an extension is granted

Picture of a cat, who is shaped like a perfectly glorious loaf. Or potato. Either way; magnificent

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Green is laying down on the floor, as Blue appears from the background, observing him. Green, thinking: Alright, time to get up now. Green remains on the floor, unmoving, as Blue prepares to pounce. Green, still in thought: Get up, get up, get up, get up, get up, get uuup Green has still made no attempt to get up, as Blue is leaping right on top of him, visible only as a blue vaguely fox-shaped blur. Green: Any minute now. Blue lands on top of Green, across his back, effectively preventing him from getting up. Green looks mildly surprised but not disappointed. Blue: Hi. Green: Hi.
