Yaaay peak Sonic Gaming! It's certainly a tough game. One of those coin munchers cause it's not very long. Wish I could give you tips but it's really just from the era of "git gud or git rich"

Man I feel like I could talk a lot more about all of these games but that character limit is SHORT. Ah well.

Army Men is a series of both shovelware and unfair punching-down. Sarge's Heroes 1 IS probably the better game. 2 kinda screams "slapped together mission pack". But it's one of the 2 N64 games I had as a child (we rented a lot) and I prefer its focus on real-world instead of plastic-world like 1.

I always loved the Hot Pursuit games as a child. When I learned there was an EA reboot I was skeptical. It combined my favorite twist on racing (cops hunting you down the whole way) with Burnout's destruction to perfect results. My college roommate said "this is the happiest I have ever seen you."

It actually became hard to pick between 1 and 2. They both do certain things the best out of the whole series. But still, 2 does SO MUCH right and has probably the best world selection. It felt so cool to be a KH fan when the first preview box landed on shelves. It is the gold standard of sequels.

There's a few Zeldas I wanted to pick but then the entire list would just be Zelda. It's funny, the time limit was something that kept kid-me away from wanting to play it back in the day, so I'd just watch others. But now the satisfaction of squeezing as much as I can into each cycle causes MM > OOT

Timesplitters 2 was my Goldeneye, but that might just be because TS2 is from the same developers. I prefer the environments, color, tone, and story structure over 3. For a while I couldn't play 3 cause of the rating bump to M, and when I did "wow new shiny game!", but after the honeymoon period...

PMD1 was a very important game for me during a rough patch as a child and I still hold sentimental value for it. I maintain each game in the series takes as many steps forward as backwards so it's hard to rank them, but I had to pick something for this list so my first PMD it is.

Payday 2 is and isn't in my top 3 games. I was obsessed with this game in high school to the point I had Bain telling me to pick up the phone as my ringtone. But over time updates changed it into something I don't super like =/. Looking at you, Jules and Wordsmith. Somehow it's still better than 3.

It's really hard to not talk more about FC2 I have so much I want to say XD

Half-Life! A game I can start up and play through any day of the week. As a kid I liked Opposing Force and HL2 more, but as I got older something about the original just kept pulling me back more than the others.

Far Cry 2 is probably my favorite game of all time. I get fun new stories to tell every playthrough. I love the tone, the theming, the setting, the mechanics, the writing. It's a game that's unashamed to not be for everyone just before Ubisoft became... uh, Ubisoft. I could talk forever about this 1

My God 9 entries is not enough. I could at least go for 10 and even then I'm leaving a good few out. Here I am with a Tangle PFP and there's no Sonic games here! Maybe 12 or 15 or something would be easier.
