Couleurs LYON, Place Bellecour. Vue sur le sommet de l'hôtel Royal On est là cœur de la métropole sur un lieu autrefois appelé « les Beaux Jardins » (Bella Curtis). Louis XIV y trône à cheval. De là il observe la colline de Fourvière, et sa basilique, la Saône et le Rhône. C’est un architecte du Roi qui fera s’élever les premiers édifices autour de la Place et c’est Napoléon qui se chargera de leur restauration . En 1888, on demandera à Prosper Perrin d’y édifier un hôtel. Et depuis, cet hôtel localement appelé « Le Royal » a traversé les années et les modes. Il porte maintenant le nom de « Le Royal Lyon MGallery ».
