I agree too. But the left by doing stunts like protest votes ensures their future irrelevance. It’s just a fact. We don’t have a parliamentary system. The left needs to to gain power & influence within the party and become regular voters to be taken seriously. It is what it is. And it’s possible!

Single-issue protest voters ironically make themselves more irrelevant.

The lesson to be learned is that fringe, single-issue voters who cannot find their way to vote against literal fascism should be ignored. And that in 2028 they should concentrate on expanding and motivating the base, reliable voters and, sadly, probably moving right.
