Walden Back In Mayorβs Race, Court Holds. @nypost nypost.com/2025/09/11/u...
Stepping into court to try and get my name off the mayoral ballot.
Judge temporarily enjoins NYC Board of Elections from placing Jim Walden on the mayoral ballot.
This mayoral candidate dropped out but could still appear on the ballot. @fox5ny.bsky.social

Joined @mikemarzaabc7 to talk about my decision to bow out of the mayorβs race and why Iβm urging others to do the same. The stakes are too high to let Mamdaniβs dangerous vision for New York go unchallenged.

Speaking to @foxbusiness about why I bowed out of the mayoral race. Itβs simple, I did the math. #fox #foxbusiness #newyork #nyc
I will post the letter here shortly. If BOE declines to act, litigation will surely ensue before the ballot-certification deadline on 9/11.

My priority here is clear: I want no voter confusion. The BOE shouldnβt want that either. Neither should any candidate. I hope each candidate will confirm his support for this application.
There is no law or regulation limiting a candidateβs constitutional right to have his name removed. Nor would any such limitation survive judicial scrutiny.
Today, I will submit a request to the Board of Elections to remove my name from the ballot in the Mayorβs race. We need every vote in a one-on-one race. I predict thatβs what we will have: the one-on-one race we need to defeat an anti-capitalist, anti-cop and antisemitic agenda in City Hall.
I sat down with Jeff Simmons and Chris Sommerfeldt on City Watch to talk about why Mamdani canβt win in a one-on-one race, and why consolidation is the only path. Catch the full episode below. soundcloud.com/jeff-simmons...
For immediate release. Zohran Mamdani knows he cannot win a one-on-one race.
I joined NY1βs Errol Louis to discuss my decision to end my candidacy, and why I believe Mamdani is a serious threat to New York City. ny1.com/nyc/all-boro...
Thrilled that Stephen Colbert knows my name now. Too little too late!
Effective tomorrow, independent Candidate Jim Walden terminates his race for New York City Mayor.
Proud of the incredible ladies from our campaign team. Always representing Team Walden wherever they go.
Swag anyone?
Thank you for making the time for a lovely breakfast, Joseph. I really enjoyed our conversation about the future of NYC.
An incredible night in the ring with NYC Cops & Kids, facing off against my fellow opponent Matthew Bogdanos. Couldnβt think of a better way to spend a Thursday evening than fundraising to support cops and kids here in New York City.
My Zero Tolerance for Rape policy will prioritize prevention and interruption alongside post-crime prosecution and victim support.
New York City faces a serious violent crime issue, with rape increasing by 52% over the past 15 years and felony assaults at a 25-year high. Ignoring this problem is not an option. Every New Yorker deserves safety.
Protecting women and men requires action, urgency, and purpose. We must confront this crisis head-on.
Integrity in Action: I will step into the Ring for NYPD Cops & Kids on August 21st in Coney Island. All proceeds go to NYC Cops & Kids Program. π₯π

The workers of the future will need new skills to succeed. And those skills need to be available to our students now. Check out Jim Walden's education plan at https://jimfornyc.com/ #JimForNYC
