This man isn't asking anything about his wife. He's asking folks if they think this "friend" like-likes him. He's doing the exact thing one does when they're talking to their bestie about someone they're interested in and trying to determine what certain words or actions *mean*.

I honestly think they DO care, which is why they throw these temper tantrums. They're children.

I had to zoom in as far as my camera would go to see if I could fnd ANY of the things the guy mentioned. Which I didn't. But that's less of the point than the fact that I cannot imagine putting in that much work to respond to a random post I don't like, let alone if that post is ANTI Nazi!

The first commenter has "vegan" in his handle, so maybe?

Also, how is she so sure he's pooping? Does she check afterward? How did this situation get so ridiculously extreme?

Yeah, the concern with this post is there will be some people who were cheated on who will *believe* that they're somehow partially responsible, especially those who've already been blamed by their garbage cheating partners for "letting themselves go". :(

I get that she, as a representative of the U.S., has to be careful with her speech. It reminds me, though, of how much women use "soft" language that unintentionally undermines the weight of our message. (cont'd)

I honestly assumed this was a woman pointing out the inequality of the experience between men and women, showing how women are left holding the bag while the men go trotting off to find their next victim. Jesus christ.

I'm a bit suspicious of your story now that you've contradicted yourself. At first HE said he didn't want to tell her he had a PhD, now you're saying YOU coached him not to tell her. And in the middle there's "I would've told her anyway if I were interested." This whole thing sounds ... unlikely.

Once I blew a tire, was literally MID-CHANGE when some dude *took the tire iron out of my hand* & finished the change. Another time I was changing fluids & a guy asked if I needed help. I said no, he said, "Oh-kaaaaay..." & walked away all doubtful-like. This is not "chivalry". It is infantilizing.

::insert my usual disclaimer of 'This whole post is a parade of red flags, but...:: What the hell is it with these at least *physically* adult men wanting their girlfriend-mommies to freaking WAKE THEM UP??? How infantilized can you make yourself, dude?

One part of this dumpster fire that stands out is the idea that the compensation for not having 2 or 3 kids includes (but is not limited to) an "open doors" policy. These two things are neither equal nor equitable.
