I’m still taking my afternoon mental health walks. 6” of snow through woods, around a lake. It was quiet, no one else was around. I didn’t even see the cannibals on the other side of the lake.

Sometimes on my walk, I think about life here after a zombie outbreak or something like the tv show The 100. Will the people on the north side of the lake be cannibals? I mean, there’s a retirement community/golf course there now, so maybe I could take em?

The history books I had as a kid in the south were propaganda. I was taught about the War of Northern Aggression, states rights, Daughters of Confederacy & the “glory” of soldier monuments 40 yrs ago.

Living in New England & hearing how ppl were taught about the Civil War here can be mind blowing.
