I have the same goal as well! But I also do enjoy making detailed ink sketches cuz they look cool as hell haha.
But I've been thinking about doing more outdoor paintings, takes more effort tho
I like the first one! Have u tried gouache? I like watercolor but it's unforgiving haha, although my watercolor paintings end up better than the gouache ones cuz i become very careful haha
I realized for me, it's best to keep doing what I do best, and over time find my people again. Far away from all the noise.
i was trying to get away from. The indie space on there has also changed, it's become more of a grift, selling shovels and get rich quick schemes. I feel like the authentic people I grew up looking upto are very few thesedays.
But i do feel bsky sort of mimics the old twitter in some way.
i can go on a long rant bc i've been ranting this to people i know lol. I've been noticing this change since 2021, tech has become more performative, and sort of institutionalized. What drew me to tech when i was younger were "the pirates and the dreamers" but now it's full of people...

I always go for a limited palette...mostly blues, greens/yellows, red on occasions, white and blacks for different shades. Gonna try the zorn palette soon...excited

Man, of all the slop/ragebait I see on Twitter, your tweets are like a glimmer of hope.
where are the communities that value slow, stable, and sustainable growth? All I see is people chasing virality, vanity metrics, and quick bucks. Building a business/product is so lonely
haha ya browser extentions are a pain! But I only focus on the Chrome Store, the market's too small for firefox and safari imo.
Ya ig it really depends! But feels + solution to a problem amplifies purchase decisions.
