Well my biggest tool is Maya, that didn't change. I think Darktable is much better than photoshop for grading, which is fair since photoshop isn't really built for that.
Photopea is web based, so its slower. It has mostly the same layout and shortcuts as photoshop so its not that bad a transition

I've replaced photoshop with Darktable for grading and Photopea for compositing. Arnold/Maya are still Arnold/Maya tho. Even got substance painter to work just fine.

I can be cumbrained as well. It's more that I don't like me, ie the human behind the characters. So I interact with people with my characters as a translation layer, and that works.
