Kinda funny glitch to bump into on Disney+. I'm pretty sure this is a Law & Order poster with Bourne Supremacy text and styling. Thought there was a crazy crossover in the works for a second there. ๐

@fibery.bsky.social just walking through the tutorial and am noticing this error whenever I add a Workflow field to a database. Things seem fine after a reload but I'm guessing it's a bit of a race condition I'm hitting. Just fyi: may be something for your internal bug tracker if not already there.
@fibery.bsky.social hey Fibery, I find the tool hard to use but somehow keep coming back to try again since I love the idea so much. ๐
Struggling with MCP in Claude Code rn. Any tips on what I need to do differently?
maybe I shouldn't upgrade my Claude Code plan. Having a forced break to put the kid to bed and do some housekeeping and grab dinner may not be such a bad idea.

Thanks @anthropic.com
hey @anthropic.com is there a way to get usage data for Claude Code. Currently testing and finding myself wanting to observe how many tokens I've been burning, how many changes I've been accepting or rejecting, etc. Some dashboard or a simple CSV dump in the CLI would be helpful.
what I loved best though. was using `gt down` arbitrarily deep, doing some work and then getting out and finding everything downstream rebased on nicely. that was the killer feature imo. ๐ i feel like jj kinda covers this need.
didn't like gt's separately rebasing of each branch in a stack upon merge... was really slow! I would rather just merge the top of a stack into mainline and auto-mark em as done but this dx didn't vibe well with gt.
gui was overwhelming (busy).
gt would bail when I did some manual git stuff.
been playing with Graphite (gt) and started learning #jujutsu (jj) a few weeks after... now, I'm not clear on the gt killer-feature. ๐
Strong enough git chops (or jj chops) or AI (Warp or Claude) give the same benefits with less pain imo.
Prove me wrong.
or... skill issue?
screenshot of the Claude Code terminal responding to a user stopping a reasoning attempt and providing feedback because Claude focused no the wrong problem.
Loving the AI tools out there these days, but there is so much babysitting involved. Still reminded every day to be cautiously optimistic when I pair-prog with Claude, Codex et al. lest I get caught with these tools eating up my tokens over nothing as they seem quite greedy atm. ๐ ๐
jj log output with one of the hashes looking spelling out "souqrpot" which is as close "what feels like a real word."
oddly satisfying when jj rev ids (hashes) look like reasonably pronounceable words... I mean "souqrpot" isn't even a word but somehow my brain is happy -- I'm just reading it as "sucre pot"... leave me be!
I don't recall having such a "come to Jesus" moment in git. ๐คฃ
Running the darwin-rebuild command in in the WezTerm terminal on a MacBook to install my system.
For all the "Nix is hard" stuff and all my cursing, I also get to enjoy the git-pull-and-darwin-rebuild magic to just get my personal MBA set up almost exactly like my work machine. Like clockwork. Like magic. โจ
Hate running side-effecting setup commands so much that this makes me really happy.
Looking up at the sky on a clear day in Berlin. Clear blue skies visible and framed by the green foliage from tree canopies and climbing plants.
Some weekends are something else with the lovely weather out in Berlin.
Lots of time with my folks outside.
Didn't get to tinker much unfortunately but, on the flip side, also didn't get to track the news at all... fortunately.
How is your weekend going?
never had as many fucks in my calendar. Sometimes I don't know why I bring on the pain: Nix + Flutter + Xcode is a losing combination. ๐คฌ
But my on-the-spectrum-ness keeps me trying ๐ and it kinda worked.
Not sure if worth it though. Any of the aforementioned tools may break my reproducible setup.
some days... had slow moments with Cursor, Warp, ChatGPT, etc... A bunch of seemingly bad advice and outright ignoring of my requests, side-questing/yak-shaving on something else. Definitely a day where my dev brain had to be on high alert to reject vibe-coding slop.
Going out for some sun. ๐
The title reminds me of Robbert Dijkgraaf who wrote "Het nut van nutteloos onderzoek", that loosely translates to "the point of pointless research," which, on the face of it, also sounds counterintuitive but packs some gems of insights.
Android, but I know of many that ship for iOS first because of the higher LTV. What has been your experience so far with the Android user base?
stumbled into a tweet/X ๐ x.com/karpathy/sta... that encouraged me to prompt my frequently used image generating AI: "based on what you know about me, create a picture of what you think my current life looks like."
I guess new parenthood and our travels to Seoul stuck with the model. Kinda wild.
starts off spitting fire: it means marketing. ๐คฃ this is great.
my spouse showed me a meme about this and then I rewatched it a few days ago while cooking. This may be one of my fave episodes now that I'm a dad. Touching how Homer draws energy from knowing he does a job that brings no joy for people that do give him joy. Ending was cute. ๐ฅน
In short, the right people are working on this, they're not out to build a Twitter clone, they're out to reshape the web, and help us return to the original promise of an open platform, a sense of ownership, and the ability to share with each other on our own terms.
Did you know that by substituting your morning coffee with green tea, you can eliminate up to 93% of what little joy you have left?

Every day I'm using GNU/Linux, I'm pep-talking myself into believing I'm "fighting a good fight" as I suffer through UX pains.
Unfair because shitty touchpads aren't just Linux's fault but I still make that attribution.
On the flip side: dev tools run smooth as butter.
Thanks. Using:
- Emacs in the background with a modified Modus theme
- Pywal to sync the theme to the rest of my system
- XMonad as WM
- a urxvt window is hovering in the middle

How it started. Fresh-ish despite sleep deprivation to tackle the day.
There was an incident in Berlin a few days ago and it's good to see that some have a good sense of humor about it.
Shitty shot of the Frankfurt skyline because I couldn't help myseld. Wonder if they do good flat whites down there. Wouldn't know. Never been.
How it ended, smashed with a minor headache. It was a warm, moist with pressure in the air kinda day.
In today's consulting life episode:
a) spotted topical wild-board-not-a-predator humor ๐
b) snapped useless shots of the FRA skyline. ๐
c) met a fellow reMarkable2 fan: set designer ๐ฌ, branding head for a vertical farming venture, parties well + is mom to party-goers. ๐
