And those who warned America about it were right.

Best thing our allies can remember: if you stand up to Trump you intimidate him and he will back down. If you crawl to him (like his sycophantic politicians) he will not respect you and will eventually throw you under the bus.

The second is to make sure you are aware of the bold act of resistance of the Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde who this morning pled with a clearly irritated Trump at the inaugural prayer service for mercy and consideration for immigrants and LGBTQ persons. She is a hero.

Democracy dying in broad fucking daylight, as it were.
