the worst of it is all these progressive-cosplaying influences who want a safe space and popularity and are so unwilling to break away from the status quo that theyre actually as toxic as someone the worst ppl on twitch perma banned list.

online gaming culture as a whole is just really rotted and gross. Its mostly influenced by incel freaks and its crazy how easily they get people to parrot their misogynistic and all round bigotted takes on everything.

the pessimism is weird too, regardless of what you think motivates a studio (money obv) it doesnt mean the product is some grift made to exploit you. These game are made by passionate devs who clearly want to make something fun, regardless of if it works or not
