Another quiet start in the suburbs
Various glimpses from the train and the ever present pigeons at Waterloo and along the Embankment. #FirstBirdofMyDay

My memories as a 11 or 12 year old are a little hazy !
An owl is awaited?
A wonderful spotlight on birches
I can feel.the warmth, which would be welcome here.
Wow. Last and only seen in about 1976, which was an eruption year I believe. 3 ? In some trees by a mining flash in industrial south Yorkshire.
A pressure ventilated house and double glazing. Nothing heard. Two kites circling as the party headed out for the morning after dog walk. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Birds seen whilst being a taxi and chaperone for your children.
Oh yes. All those Brexit benefits in the sun drenched uploads of paradise !
Very welcoming guide. Basic cafe in the church rooms. Safe travels Andy
St Peter's Heysham. Well worth the walk from Morecambe. One for @drrjwarren.bsky.social and @fotofacade.bsky.social
Certainly getting the travelling in this month. Enjoy the field work. Someone else's job to get the students through passport control.
Another early walk to the train. A blackbird singing as a couple of crows flap between the minarets of the mosque full charcoal black against the inky blue sky. A bright street light deputising fit the moon.
#fontsonFriday St Peter's Heysham. Neat use of the under table cupboard for the extinguishers
There was a wren noisily exploring the wall at the back of the bike shed at work yesterday. Blackbirds singing in the terraces, crows crawling on the roof tops, maybe a thrush singing in the park. Rain softly falling on the walk to the station. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Thanks. A little faded and dusty up in the row above the picture rail.
On the last postcard Dad ever wrote. 2011.
The early watcher @hannahbournetaylor.bsky.social "our" blackbird definitely sings before dawn and rarely after. Lots of crows from the roost sitting dejectedly in the trees waiting for the mist to clear? Lots of singing in the woods by the canal #FirstBirdofMyDay
No, I was just enhancing the projected light as on the brown table it was less obvious. My first glass piece
Stunning photo indeed of the one and only.
Shouted at by a goshawk she casually mentions. Nice.
Spring has sprung

Thank you
I wondered from the flats but there are multiple versions of that style
I am guessing Leeds, but don't recognise the skyline
Very early a single blackbird alarm call, no singing
Just interrupted by some unusual sounds in the garden, a great tit announcing it was checking the nest box in the ivy. Most years they take a look, but with limited success #FirstBirdofMyDay
Yesterday in 7 miles we saw one family of four, a dog walker and then three with dogs, and possibly from their very smart clothes it was "their" woodland we were walking through. They were quite civil we were in the PROW sometimes i am not !
Absolutely both of you. We walked the valley to the West in the autumn when are son was at the furniture school in Staveley for a week. We seem to have a preference for the less frequented places.
Nice ! Blackbirds at 5am and just before 5pm, closing the day. Very little heard all day, whilst working away bar one short rattle from a blue tit. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Got to love a cobble.
