I started tinkering with a bit of character animation this year in my down time. I realized today this goofy lil attempt at the rat dance was hidden in the replies so I figured I'd re-share it.

Just submitted for a #furality panel, current working title being `Fireworks and Drones: Real experiences for virtual spaces`. It will detail the process and technology for the novel show we did at SF 3 just a few months ago, Co-Hosted with my team @ruadhain.bsky.social & @windyote.bsky.social

I'm genuinely impressed this is immediately recognizable as ball python inspired before even reading the text. People often miss the nuances of their markings, very well done! Can I get this in Desert Ghost Super Orange Dream Coral Glow Yellow Belly Clown? 😜

Real classy. I miss when politicians at least pretended to have some sense of decorum in public.

I feel I should clarify this isn't a judgement or some attempt at gatekeeping the fandom, just a thing that often strikes me as a little strange from my own limited perspective.

Yeah, I suppose there are only so many possible things one could maintain an active curiosity about, and there are SO MANY potentially interesting things in the world. Not to mention how the energy expenditure might have a different cost for each person.

Perpetually perplexed by people who've had their 'sona picked out for many years and still know practically nothing about the species. Obv you don't need encyclopedic knowledge about a thing to just enjoy it, but it just puzzles the heck out of me when people know so little about a thing they like.

We're gonna make a few minor tweaks and fixes to the drones and pyro soon. Don't suppose you'd be interested in getting more footage? :D

I attended #stageflight last weekend and to say it was a magical experience sells it short. Music, visuals, atmosphere (literally), and friends made memories for a lifetime
