like of course that can already go into a piece when consideration is given to posing, action, expression etc. but a big part of artfight is that you don't have to be of any particular skill level to participate. abstract and conceptual art is a great way for people to do just that

if anything it shows an effort to engage with the character on a deeper level than just the design, thinking about themes and personality. that's cooler to me than simply recreating the visuals
