You beat their ass in elections, a thing Democrats can and have done. Because yeah, standing for nothing but owning the libs is bad, and they should lose because of it, and all efforts should, in my view, center on “them losing”
Do you want to win elections or do you want to be right? Because you can start from the latter and work to the former but there’s serious work involved and yes, you’ll have to appeal to white males.
IS THERE NOTHING GOOD IN THIS WORLD?
Sorry, the full post didn't fit in the alt space here.
Post by Bill Roper (THAT Bill Roper) over on LinkedIn.
just saw a group of masked men stuffing masked ICE agents into an unmarked car, who were saying "we're ICE we're ICE!" but the abductors shouted to the crowd "no we're ICE!" no one knew who was ICE, so no one in the crowd said anything.
Once again, we have data on this - you can poll Americans, ask if they think Kamala was to their right, & get a number of those who do
It's 6%
When you spend $45 million of other people's money on your dictator chic birthday and it's still worse than a roadside Taco Bell value-package party.
this is like drake and kendrick lamar but they're both drake
Great piece and highlights what we need to be making clearer.
Personally I am of the opinion that video games rot your brain. However, so does everything else. In fact, everything else is worse. Video games actually are the slowest means towards your inevitable and total brain rot.
Trump/Musk and the entire GOP has spent the last four months systematically liquidating disease cure research in the United States. Lots of critical cure studies shuttered mid-way through. Research shutdown everywhere. It's all hands on deck to prevent new treatments for cancer, ahlzeimers etc.
the studies that are going down the drain because the White House has some plan that requires you and your loved ones dying from diseases that might otherwise be cured.
This $80 game discourse truly has me perplexed. On one hand, nobody, self included, wants to pay *more* for games, right? But am I mad at it? No, because some of these games are easily worth that and then some. If I could go back and pay $80 for Witcher 3 or GTA V? I wouldn't have even hesitated.
What is the lifespan of software? What if you make software that's silly and full of whimsy? Will people remember it? Anyway, here's a video someone recently posted of “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan performed through the composer feature in Mario Paint, a game released on Super Nintendo in 1992
First Image: An angry looking guy in a tank-top and dark grey pants. Alpha Male - Mean to others and himself - Insecure about everything - Anxious, distrustful - Sets inrealistic goals - Does not achieve them Second Image: A guy in sweatpants and Aphex Twin t-shirt, holding something small up in his hand Gregma Male - This is just my friend Greg - He wanted to be in this meme to show off his new Warhammer mini - Greg you have to - You have to move it closer to the camera - Greg they literally can't see it
Tariffs are bad, but it's shifting to a corruption-based economy where everyone's business plans hinge on lobbying for exemptions is what really lands you in an Argentina-style disaster.
I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.
It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.
NYT headline from last August: "Harris and Trump Embrace Tariffs, Though Their Approaches Differ"
gee i wonder why voters might've been confused about the existential stakes of the last election
2/ On purpose. For many cancers, research has been put back years or decades. Alzheimers treatment and cure research similar story. If you know people who are survivors of these diseases and fear recurrence or have genetic dispositions or are just like everyone else and know they are liable ...
3/ But it's yet another new frontier of WTAF in the heroes journay of Elon, Trump and Bobby trying to make sure you and your family don't live as long as you could, deciding they want to get involved in a big way on the war on cancer ... on the side of cancer. (and every other terrible disease).
Are you that discontented DOGE staffer? It might be time. You can reach out to me on Signal at joshtpm.99 (I'm not like Mike Waltz; I know how to use it.) You can also get me at joshtpm at protonmail dot com. Are you a federal worker with information I need to hear? I want to hear from you too.
also worth checking out age of wonders 4 if you're into that sort of thing.
Really key stuff here. DOGE flipped the Institute's security contractors - Inter-Con - against them by threatening to cancel all their security contracts across the federal government.
This is where DOGE's money meets up with guns and the lawyers are kicked to the side.
This is so fucking beyond insane. Millions of lives will be immeasurably worse for decades because of these ignorant maniacs
