A tweet from βSophia A. Nelson @IAmSophiaNelsonβ says: βNo executive. No college president. No c-suite leader. No industry leader could ever talk like this. Ever. And still hold his job.β Below is a tweet from βThat Gay Guy Candle Co.β reading: βFemale reporter pushes Trump on the release of the Epstein files. His response? βQuiet, piggy.ββ The image shows a man standing in what appears to be an airplane aisle next to a screen displaying the presidential seal.
Heβs held to zero standards, and yet heβs the highest officeholder in the land.

I feel like itβs been years since Iβve felt genuinely excited about an #AppleEvent. It essentially now always boils down to the same old stuff slightly slimmer/faster/longer-lasting than the previous model. Nothing that feels genuinely game changing.
The best season imo. Weβre on Season 3 episode 6(?) and itβs good but I was saying to A last night that itβs just not the same without Tanya and Valentina π
I remember when my uni had to register their glider with the CAA and get a G-Reg (this wasnβt a requirement until like 2007), I campaigned to have βG-SPOTβ, but it quickly turned out that had already been used on a destroyed aircraft. π©
Apparently at some point in the 80s my late Dad had looked into buying one, and actually went to a viewing, but decided against going further because the then current owner was apparently very messy. The resentment when I found out. π©π
From memory of a few flights on them, they were noisy and not particularly great from the passenger experience perspective either. MD11 was only slightly better.
I mean all three really, but Iβd say Tallinn, Vilnius then Riga in that order of preference. Tallinn is imo the most beautiful but can be slightly spoilt during the day by cruise ship groups though. If going to Vilnius, I also recommend a visit to Trakai, particularly if the weatherβs nice.
I ended up loving it (for all the reasons mentioned by others) but I found it took longer to seduce me than the other Baltic capitals (Tallinn and Vilnius ofc).
I thought they finished broadcasting it?
Thereβs an amazing Indian place opposite the Edwardian Hotel called Ashaβs that A and I go to whenever weβre in town, and also the hotel itself has an expensive but great Japanese-Mexican restaurant called Peter Street Kitchen.
We have to keep two (clearly labelled!) thermometers at home for this reason, because Iβm used to taking temperatures orally, whilst Adrien only does it like in Franceβ¦ And you donβt really want to mix up the two! π π
Theyβre so useless these days though, unless youβre literally requesting tickets to something they partner closely on, or one of their own events. You can no longer ring them for random advice or bookings/requests which is crap considering they keep increasing the fee.
So sorry Dave. β€οΈ
I also recently got some pedals. Theyβre kind of fun, but as my chair both swivels and rolls, with no lock function for the latter, it makes it annoying to use pedals when you push your foot and end up kicking the chair backwards. π I also find them not sensitive enough to steer on taxi very easily.
Very sad to hear this. He was behind so much of the BBC comedy I loved growing up, during what was arguably a golden era for British TV and radio satire. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Itβs rare to see corporate leaders speak out on matters of international diplomacy, so kudos to Richard Branson for this particular statement, which happens to also be spot on.
Happy βFind out who on Instagram is dating whoβ Day, everyone! π
Covid to thank for quite a lot of that. π©
At least WhatsApp is one product Meta mostly just bought for the user base but hardly makes them any money.
Maybe their payment software is managed by the same people that were responsible for Sainsburyβs introducing support for contactless about 3 years (2017) after almost every other store on the high street.
Hey itβs already a miracle they implemented it for the whole of IdF, letβs not push expectations too far! π
ok I went on their website and I'd really recommend it, if you too have the sense of humour of a greasy 15-year-old zugspitze.de/en/Our-mount...
AI is not what it was hyped up to be π€£
Jesus Christ, the amount of relentless thirsting of the NY CEO shooter on here (and Twitter) is just INSANE. π
Not to mention the fact that the trivial scale of the sum is just beyond ridiculous. The previous government wasted billions on useless PPE (just one example) and here there are people trying to make a fuss about 300 quid. π€―
It was very cool. My father and I left from Waterloo on the Friday evening - I had to come straight from school (my green and red uniform is visible in couple of the photos). They put everyone up at what was the Hotel Terminus Nord with a dinner, and the following day we were put on a train back.
Exactly one day and one month before my first Eurostar journey! (My parents were lucky enough to be invited on a pre-opening trip and my mother kindly gave up her place for me. I was the only child on the train so suspect I may have been the first to ride it ever, but never had it confirmed.)
Oh gosh, this one definitely gorged on too many nuts! π
