If you’re expecting pace and energy, you’ll be disappointed, if you’re expecting a thriller which focuses on grief, revenge and blowing up swimming pools on the 16th floor, then you’ll probably enjoy it. 3/4
I’d like to have seen the main character fumbling more on his adventures and more steps in his growth as he goes from being buried in a basement before learning to fly. It’s not a bad movie. But one which doesn’t quite pull off what it was trying too I think. 2/4
Just watched ‘The Amateur’ which could have been called ‘Nerd Bourne’ or ‘Teckie Taken’. I think the pacing of the trailer is not the same as the movie. The movie is a lot slower. The plot had a few too many holes (for a spy/thriller). It felt like a movie trying to do a few too many things. 1/4
