@kirkhamilton.com No doubt this has popped up in your feed already, but just in caseโฆ
Ever been to the museum in New Jersey?

Emily Elizabeth presents her Big Red Dog, Clifford, with a cake. Clifford is still a puppy, only twice her size, and heโs lying down in the opening of his enormous yellow doghouse (which probably only lasted a week). Emily Elizabeth is wearing her trademark outfit (pink long-sleeve shirt, black skirt, black-and-pink striped knee socks), topped with a pink heart apron. Both Clifford and Emily Elizabeth look very happy. As they should!
@kirkhamilton.com I do hope you got your wife a Big Red Dog. (No doubt she got a bunch of these jokes as a kidโฆ)

Hey Jack, hereโs what happens in The Village, Year One.

Even though science fiction writer Robert Heinlein was a lifelong champion of libertarian ideals, he still managed to see the dangers of โfreedom from civilizationโ in his short story, โCoventryโ (1940). (Unfortunately it also inspired aspects of Hubbardโs Dianetics.)
A Flegg in its natural habitat
Another Flegg deciding how to tear down a wall.
Apropos of nothing, spotted these in the wildโฆ

@billsimmons.bsky.social Kids on the beach in the โ70s = Rushโs โLakeside Parkโ. A better time.
โEveryone would gather on the 24th of May
Sitting in the sand to watch the fireworks display
Dancing fires on the beach, singing songs together
Though it's just a memory, some memories last foreverโ
Loved the episode, and the project as a whole.
A little surprised no mention of WEDDING CRASHERS, perhaps Ferrellโs ultimate man-child turn. Could have been on the โRecommended if you likeโฆโ list. (Fun aside: first R-rated comedy to gross over $200M)
โMA!! THE MEATLOAF!!โ
I respect and support your decision, and the difficult process that got you here. Itโs disappointing but perhaps unsurprising that some portion of AMCAโs listeners responded poorly, but this franchise attracts all types. Donโt let a vocal minority get you down! Also, Austin made a golf analogy. ๐ฎ
Whoโs the man from the clan, who wants to eat you and me?
L-E-A, T-H-E, R-F-A-C-E.
Leatherface, Leatherface, forever he will wave his chainsaw high! (HIGH! HIGH!)
Etc.
I can imagine. Iโm a typical WASP, families have been here from Scotland, England and N. Ireland for generations, and still have that affinity. Canada will try and reaffirm its connections thru the Commonwealth to offset this nonsense, but every country is going through it these days.
Loved the repartรฉe with Yasi and Amanda. (You were okay too. ๐)
Wondered where you land on the James McTiegue-directed Wachowski adaptation of Alan Mooreโs V FOR VENDETTA (2005). Film itself has flaws, but still compelling and features some terrific performances. Feels increasingly relevant.
โฆand we thought the US was disliked around the world before. ๐คฏ This new era of utter abdication of moral responsibility is achieving record lows every day. I wonder how many decades will pass before they accept accountability for the damage they are doing right now.

Slellwreck ruins all my jokes.
Nothing to do with me not being very funny. Definitely not that.
Itโs self-cauterizing. Like love.
Iโm petty like that. ๐คทโโ๏ธ ๐
Nah, happy itโs out. Iโd just never encountered the word โskelfโ before, and with โtiny weeโ in front of it, it sounds like you had a pixie in your finger.
Sometimes the grownup in the room just has to say โNoโ. There should be people in every arm and office of the US Government taking similarly principled stands against illegal executive orders and their enforcement.
A Valentineโs Day gift for the fans.

Apparently your Valentineโs date is the Bubonic Plague. But hey, you slept! Thatโs good.

I mean, such a fragrantly (and flagrantly) ripe fake should be obvious to anyone, but yeah. Critical thinking, folks - letโs use it!
