It generally seems to be. I’ve mentioned it to @ay8s.com as well since I had a couple other issues with the new composer pop up in the last few days. There’s been some odd stuff but haven’t really had anything vanish and show up later in strange places. 🤷‍♂️

When I went to move the last photo, the black screen returned and away went my post.

And just hit a new issue. I was trying to move some photos in a post I was working on, I’d select a photo to move, but for some reason when I started to actually move the photo, the selection would jump to the one beside it.

So more moving than planned, but got that mostly fixed.

Actually, feature wise, the new composer’s been a bit of a God Send and this is really the one and only time I’ve had a post just straight refuse to go out!

Admittedly it’s a bit of a trade off, but confirming a post going out really only takes 3 seconds, and until everything’s stable I’m good. 🤷‍♂️

That honestly sounds really really plausible. I’m kind of fascinated that it’s only my BlueSky account where it keeps happening, while it only happened once for Facebook and Instagram.

Well, I am certainly happy to be entertaining you then! 🤣

Honestly, this whole thing has gotten so crazy I’m kinda having fun with it! 😂

By the way, did you guys resurrect Houdini and hire him as a programmer or something? 🤣

So I just took a look for the heck of it while I’m here on my iPad … and the disappearing post is in my BlueSky drafts *AGAIN!* 😂🤣 It says it’s scheduled to post at 8:31pm, about two hours and twenty minutes ago.

This time I’ll just leave it in the drafts for you.

Frankly, I wish you luck because unless you’re actually capable of opening up a cyber-blackhole, I have *no* idea how you’re going to replicate this one! 😂

The screen shots are what happened when I decided to try the impossible scheduling.

I then scheduled it properly and the post seems to have vanished once more as it’s not in any of my BlueSky folders, while a separate post that was scheduled after this one has gone out without issue.

So my mysteriously vanishing post showed back up in the Buffer drafts on my phone today. I did the “schedule a few minutes ahead” trick to post it and the app simply left it in my drafts instead of sending it.

Oddly it gave me the option to schedule the post for the original, long past, time

Another set with @follyhollylynn from our recent #PoolHall shoot & as much as I was loving how the lighting gave each shot a hint of a vintage vibe right out of the camera, I just enjoy the idea of a set that wasn’t planned to be a set. 😁

I understand you guys were having issues and the service was down yesterday morning. Could this be related?

Ok, I thought it was something like that, however the post was never in my queue. It was simply gone, then reappeared in my drafts about four hours later, though while I was eventually able to post to Facebook and Instagram, the BlueSky post disappeared entirely a second time.

If I recall correctly, I got that error at this point any time I tried to do something sending related … before the post suddenly appeared on IG and Facebook without any notification.

For some reason when I tried to send it to BlueSky, the error appeared again and the post completely vanished again

Ok, downtime might explain a few things because as I mentioned elsewhere, I had tried to post this morning, but when I hit send the post simply disappeared, no sign of it anywhere.

Early afternoon it suddenly started appearing in my drafts, which I tried to send out.

So I guess the post did eventually go out? I think this relates to my trying to use the “Next available” posting option this morning and my post instead seemed to just disappear.

@ay8s.com So apparently I’m not able to schedule posts?

Was that supposed to happen or should I be concerned?

When I finish composing a post and select “Next Available” for when it goes out, what happens to my post? I’m just wondering because I tried the function with a post I just finished, & I don’t actually see the post anywhere. It didn’t go out and isn’t in the app.
