Netanyahu is a seasoned politician who likely urged the US to attack Iran to fulfil his long cherished dream, but let’s not underestimate the power of idiots in the US administration who advised the president.
The US may claim it wants to end the war but Iran isn't interested. When a middle-east country which has often played mediator starts issuing grave warnings to the world, it's time to pay attention. This war could have serious repercussions for the whole world.

The US is talking about stopping the attack on Iran, probably because they have lost. Regime intact. His advisors told him of such a scenario but it was one of many scenarios… I doubt they told him it was the most likely one. Losing.
53% of U.S. adults say Americans have bad morals while on the other end of the spectrum those in Canada & India think highly of their fellow citizens. So are Americans more moralistic? Nope, that doesn't explain it.

So Russia is providing Iran on intelligence as to where US forces are in the middle east. Russia/America always been enemies. Cd not understand why there was any pretence of friendship. In this war Russia is the winner. Countries are scrambling to buy Russian oil.

So India has to take America's permission to buy Russian oil. What a world we are living in today, with rich countries bullying the poorer ones. Live and Let live is a philosophy which seems absurd in today's world.

We all know that the Japanese live the longest but surprising that so many countries in Europe are not far behind. China doesn't fair too well and nor does India. Physical activity is the critical factor for a long life...as is wealth...wish we could compare it to African countries though.
It's a tragedy that no part of the world is immune to the threat of war. China's threat to take over #Taiwan is compelling #Japan to prepare itself.

Few people talk about the environmental costs of #war as most of the angst is about loss of life. But the energy costs, vast amounts of land required, the emissions, pollution caused by the military even in peace times...one can go on and on.

Don't be influenced bc our govt. believes it or bc sheikh hasina believes it. Also, I know foreign service officers who often give me tips. Its so well known that I don't want to get into it. There is never any "proof" so it's ok for you to have a diff belief.

Also Yunus was installed by the Americans. The funding was based on this promise. Yunus was Biden’s man but he turned out to be a weak leader. Naturally he would, he was America’s puppet! Now we can just hope that the BNP steers Bangladesh in the right direction.
Venezuela over, Iran going on, Cuba next. History being repeated. America's domination of Cuba caused the 1959 Fidel Castro revolution. Something similar happened in Iran, when UK & US overthrew a democratic regime to install the Shah. Then the mullahs took over.

it is widely known. It was managed through USAID. Without funding, the movement wouldn't have taken off. What's surprising is that it's known in Bangladesh as well. We met a Bangladeshi doctor on our trip to Japan and I immediately engaged him in a discussion on this. He said he knew, everyone knew.

True and the Bangladeshi people were funded by the USA and also the govt wasn’t like Iran’s. The revolutionary guards are very ruthless.
Time will tell whether America’s ham-handed approach to change the regime in Iran works. Several power centres still exist there. The Afghanistan regime change didn't last…is Iran even going to begin? Changing regimes from the outside rarely brings lasting peace or good results. History lesson.

An opportunity too good to miss- #Iran in economic crisis, people protests & a weakening regime. If Iran had to be taken, this was the time. Khamenei is dead, but no guarantee that his proxies won't take over the reins. Invasions don't fix things. History tells us that.

Lack of empathy is not always a result of pent-up frustration. There is something intrinsically wrong with these people. They are psychologically damaged probably due to poor upbringing. If they didn’t get this outlet they cd find another. A pity so many disturbed people exist in this world.
