Netanyahu is a seasoned politician who likely urged the US to attack Iran to fulfil his long cherished dream, but let’s not underestimate the power of idiots in the US administration who advised the president.

Qatar warns the world Iran war could yield 'catastrophic results' β€œThis is the biggest I told you so in the history of I told you sos in the world,” Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Dr Majed Al-Ansari told the media in a striking statement directed to all active combat forces in the Iran war just as a new wave of Iranian attacks triggered air raid alerts in Doha.

The US may claim it wants to end the war but Iran isn't interested. When a middle-east country which has often played mediator starts issuing grave warnings to the world, it's time to pay attention. This war could have serious repercussions for the whole world.

My journey was a personal one. I am from a religious family and I saw extremes which are not healthy.

The US is talking about stopping the attack on Iran, probably because they have lost. Regime intact. His advisors told him of such a scenario but it was one of many scenarios… I doubt they told him it was the most likely one. Losing.

In 25-Country Survey, Americans Especially Likely To View Fellow Citizens as Morally Bad | Pew Research Center Across 25 countries, Americans are the most likely to see the morality and ethics of people in their country as somewhat or very bad.

53% of U.S. adults say Americans have bad morals while on the other end of the spectrum those in Canada & India think highly of their fellow citizens. So are Americans more moralistic? Nope, that doesn't explain it.

Russia is providing intelligence to Iran on the location of U.S. forces, sources say The assistance could help Iran locate American warships, radar or other communication systems, but there's no indication Moscow is helping direct Iranian strikes, sources tell NBC News.

So Russia is providing Iran on intelligence as to where US forces are in the middle east. Russia/America always been enemies. Cd not understand why there was any pretence of friendship. In this war Russia is the winner. Countries are scrambling to buy Russian oil.

So India has to take America's permission to buy Russian oil. What a world we are living in today, with rich countries bullying the poorer ones. Live and Let live is a philosophy which seems absurd in today's world.

We all know that the Japanese live the longest but surprising that so many countries in Europe are not far behind. China doesn't fair too well and nor does India. Physical activity is the critical factor for a long life...as is wealth...wish we could compare it to African countries though.

Japan to deploy missiles on Yonaguni island near Taiwan by 2031 The remote Yonaguni island lies on the frontlines of self-governing Taiwan's growing tensions with China.

It's a tragedy that no part of the world is immune to the threat of war. China's threat to take over #Taiwan is compelling #Japan to prepare itself.

How does war damage the environment? - CEOBS Ever wondered what the environmental impacts of war are? Read our guide to the many different ways through which armed conflicts and militarism can damage the environment.

Few people talk about the environmental costs of #war as most of the angst is about loss of life. But the energy costs, vast amounts of land required, the emissions, pollution caused by the military even in peace times...one can go on and on.

Don't be influenced bc our govt. believes it or bc sheikh hasina believes it. Also, I know foreign service officers who often give me tips. Its so well known that I don't want to get into it. There is never any "proof" so it's ok for you to have a diff belief.

US delegation meets Muhammad Yunus, assures support for Bangladesh's future The development came more than a month after Muhammad Yunus, known for his close relations with Washington, was installed Bangladesh's Chief Advisor following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina.

Yunus has ties to the US and it's putting 2 and 2 together. Protesters in bangladesh cannot rise up & overthrow a govt. they had financial support. If you think it is not the US, which country do you think it was? You can start by reading this.

Also Yunus was installed by the Americans. The funding was based on this promise. Yunus was Biden’s man but he turned out to be a weak leader. Naturally he would, he was America’s puppet! Now we can just hope that the BNP steers Bangladesh in the right direction.

Trump suggests US could carry out β€˜friendly takeover’ of Cuba As tensions between two countries reach new highs, US president says regime is β€˜talking with us’

Venezuela over, Iran going on, Cuba next. History being repeated. America's domination of Cuba caused the 1959 Fidel Castro revolution. Something similar happened in Iran, when UK & US overthrew a democratic regime to install the Shah. Then the mullahs took over.

Well, without boots on the ground I wonder how they will conquer Iran. The RSF is a million strong. If they do all this destruction, and Iran continues what its doing, nothing makes sense.

it is widely known. It was managed through USAID. Without funding, the movement wouldn't have taken off. What's surprising is that it's known in Bangladesh as well. We met a Bangladeshi doctor on our trip to Japan and I immediately engaged him in a discussion on this. He said he knew, everyone knew.

How Dubai's safe-haven status is being put to the test For decades, Dubai's sales pitch featured gleaming skylines, tax-free salaries, ease of doing business and something far more intangible: the unspoken promise that whatever was happening elsewhere in ...

#Dubai spent decades building up its identity β€Œas a reliable & safe place for business. And then of course, it's a tax-free haven. The first illusion has been shattered. Now Dubai is paying all costs for stranded visitors but will that restore its image I wonder.

In Iran the people haven’t started to rise up because the RSF is still succeeding in keeping them in check,!despite its head being cut off. So will America actually put boots on the ground?

True and the Bangladeshi people were funded by the USA and also the govt wasn’t like Iran’s. The revolutionary guards are very ruthless.

Time will tell whether America’s ham-handed approach to change the regime in Iran works. Several power centres still exist there. The Afghanistan regime change didn't last…is Iran even going to begin? Changing regimes from the outside rarely brings lasting peace or good results. History lesson.

Why did US and Israel attack Iran? They see opportunity not to be missed Israel and the US believe Iran's regime is vulnerable, dealing with an economic crisis and the aftermath of protests.

An opportunity too good to miss- #Iran in economic crisis, people protests & a weakening regime. If Iran had to be taken, this was the time. Khamenei is dead, but no guarantee that his proxies won't take over the reins. Invasions don't fix things. History tells us that.

South Asians eat better, yet have higher risk of diabetes, heart disease by 45. US study flags paradox Researchers followed nearly 2,700 adults aged 45 to 55 over a decade, drawing data from two long-running cohort studies, find mismatch between healthier lifestyle and clinical risk.

A US study flagged a mismatch between healthy lifestyle choices & clinical risk. Genes must be why South Asians are at risk despite healthy diets. South Asia is incredibly diverse but people marry deep within their own communities...which increases genetic risk.

Afghanistan and Pakistan at war again. Pak claims it launched strikes into Afghanistan to target "militant camps and hideouts" but Afghanistan retaliated. Funny Pak is so worried about terror camps when there's no shortage of those in their own backyard.

Lack of empathy is not always a result of pent-up frustration. There is something intrinsically wrong with these people. They are psychologically damaged probably due to poor upbringing. If they didn’t get this outlet they cd find another. A pity so many disturbed people exist in this world.
