I am not into stamps myself but lots of collectors are space challenged and there is some great advice in this article.

A Star Trek fan for life. A Star Trek collector for almost as long. I tell the stories behind my best collectibles at CollectingTrek.ca and the history of Canada's first and best Star Trek convention at https://TorontoStarTrek76.ca/.

Ummmβ¦for all of us?

Color guide for page 6 of Star Trek: Passage to Moauv with Enterprise crewmembers talking like cats and a green Dr. McCoy.
Mail call: Color guide for page 6 of Star Trek: Passage to Moauv, the book & comic story published by Power Records in 1975. 8.5"x12" watercolor on photocopy of linr art.
A black-and-white close-up portrait of John Colicos. He faces slightly toward the camera with a calm, attentive expression. His short dark hair is neatly trimmed, and he has thick eyebrows and a clean-shaven face. He wears a collared shirt with the top button open beneath a darker jacket. The softly blurred background suggests an indoor setting, keeping the focus on his face.
John Colicos was the first man to portray a Klingon on Star Trek.
He was a veteran of the Stratford Festival.
He acted in The National Dream, voiced Apocalypse on X-Men: The Animated Series and much more.
This is his story.

It is nice to see another Archer fan here.
If I may make a suggestion:

He was also concerned about returning to a role, rather than doing new work, but the licensing issue was a big factor.
Yes, it does feel that way.
And he came close to not being in TMP, although he said later he was glad he did not walk away from Spock.
Me too.
And I own that book (two copies, actually) but I havenβt read it in many years.
Before Bluesky, we had stamps. The 1978 Leonard Nimoy Association of Fans newsletter was the original socials.
A pitch for a new cassette, high-stakes βName your priceβ classifieds, and big Spock news buried on page 2: hereβs a look at the internet of the β70s.

Wow. β¬οΈ This comicβ¦we got the same message in the first #StarTrek novel, Mission to Horatius.
Donβt read the book, because itβs terrible, but do read my article about it: https://collectingtrek.ca/2019/03/19/star-trek-mission-to-horatius/

Day 1: Star Trek #1, Gold Key
I was told a similar story about James Doohan. I wrote about it here: https://torontostartrek76.ca/being-there/
We watched the 70s episode ("Fade in to Murder") of Columbo featuring William Shatner as Ward Fowler last night and I had heard before that a pencil drawing of James T. Kirk is seen in Fowler's mansion. So here he is, Captain Kirk on Columbo in all the shots where the drawing is seen. :-)
David Gerrold's Health and Leukemia Fundraiser on GoFundMe is still a few thousand dollars short of the goal.
Consider donating, if you are able: www.gofundme.com/f/david-gerr...
Here is my piece about David and this campaign: collectingtrek.ca/2025/12/20/g...
"This and $1.50 will get you a bus ride."
John Wheeler, Gav the Tellarite in Journey to Babel, died recently.
He often showed a self-deprecating humor when he signed autographs. Here is my tribute to a working actor who the #StarTrek community did not know well: collectingtrek.ca/2026/03/03/g...
This one is worth buying just for that gorgeous cover.
Thank you! I need to get back to those. Many more to cover.
Oh, okay. That makes sense. I didnβt think it was from the show. Thanks.
Is this endorsed or supported by the Okudas?
Wait, what? Kirkβs desk from TOS?
βYet they both end on a very similar note! Kirk expresses awe, and then some whimsyβ¦β
Correct, because in the end Kirk is about awe and whimsy.
Except in Generations, but the less said about that movieβ¦
Yes, correct.
The Sulu part is interesting too. Takei says Roddenberry used the Sulu Sea in the Philippines, but the book Inside Star Trek says the name is a joke on Herb βSolow.β
Itaka as Sulu's first name, and Upenda as Uhura's, were used in fan circles in the 70s for years. In fact, they appear in the "unofficial" Officer's Manual that popped up at cons.
Keep this sketch handy in case you ever need to build your own sex candle.
Iβll take two. Where do I send the payment?

Also shows that the forward section was intended to separate.
This is not available through Overcast (my fav podcatcher) nor Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Iβm in Canada. Is that the problem?
The most often used glassware on #StarTrekTOS are these 60s glasses seen in 11 episodes. They appear in all three seasons of the show and debuted on Tantalus V in "Dagger of the Mind". They usually appear on the Enterprise but are also seen on other planets, like Argelius II and Ardana. 𧡠1/4
Without me?!
Horror.
