As an autistic person, I'm pretty certain I'm a cisgender woman, but about twenty minutes after an Evangelical tells me what I should feel like as a woman, I'm 100% not sure I'm a cisgender woman.

essentially the entire problem with doctoring is that two totally different professions— medicine and care— have been combined into one, and people who want to do medicine broadly resent the expectation to perform care, to disastrous results.

These issues are far more complicated than most people have the capacity to understand because they either didn't listen in biology class or fail at having empathy unless they've personally experienced whatever it is or both. I wish we could simply teach people to mind their own business.
Friends long ago had child born with non-standard plumbing. Drs advocated surgery to make them "look" standard. Trans person they consulted advocated waiting because surgery might cut away tissue that was only avenue for pleasure in adulthood just so parents felt comfortable during diaper change.

I think they did it on purpose to "dirty" whoever won and decrease turnout in the general because people who voted for the loser will be sad/angry/disheartened.
