The project plans to install six floating units for gas liquefaction. Two of these units will be owned by ENI, while SACE, Italy’s export credit agency, is poised to secure the work with public money 💰💰, compensating for investments in the event that the project suffers a setback.
Italy may use taxpayer funds to support an environmentally risky LNG project in Argentina - a project which will put numerous species at risk in the Vaca Muerta Basin.
