I'm just coming back from a social media break, and this is a lovely comment to return to, thanks! <3
Love this story so much! And I agree, excellent art and audio too!
This is so good! Love the story, and the audio is excellent!
I'm obsessed with this story by @katherinegarrison.bsky.social at @foofarawpress.bsky.social So clever... it's the kind of story that feels like fun, and then the sad and chilling undertow pulls you deep.
Also, the audio narration is fabulous!
βI donβt think there are many Republicans that want to give immunity to someone that may have been sex trafficking children,β Comer told CNN last week.
'...may have been...'? She was convicted. You all need to push back on this stuff. Anything less helps them justify an eventual pardon.
Elbows up, Canada! π¨π¦πͺ

"There are reasons why the president and some of his team referred to Canada as being mean and nasty to deal with, OK." - US Ambassador Pete Hoekstra
Oh, right.
Our boycott is a grassroots movement in response to Trump's threats & disrespect. US politicians need to sort your own house, not ask Canadians to put US interests above our own. (But it might help if you tell Pete Hoekstra to stop talking.)
Good luck, America. We're rooting for you!
Elbows up! π¨π¦
Trump sure does have a knack for making the absolute worst choice possible. Pete Hoekstra -- the perfect ambassador for illustrating how to inflict maximum self-harm. Thanks for reminding Canadians why we need to maintain our US boycott. Elbows up!

Trump is really out there doing his best to make every situation worse for the US. Thanks, Pete Hoekstra, for the reminder of why Canadians need to stand strong in our boycott efforts. Elbows up!
Those bangs! Those eyes! π β€οΈβπ₯
Great book, great cover! Check it out!
Oooh. I love it!! π
Yay!! That's so amazing! Congratulations to her!
Imagine Germany having to explain this to Marco Rubio. "This is democracy." Maybe you heard of it, Marco?
Congrats!!
California is considered "very blue" & nearly 40% voted for Trump. Palm Springs is not an island separate from its district, state, or country. Better to advertise & ask Trump-supporting neighbours to stand up against Trump's threats before asking Canadians for our tourist dollars.
Congrats! I love this so much. I got to the end and immediately went back to read it again. "... knowing it might lie, listening anyway..." Beautiful work, Mizuki!!
So many gorgeous pieces here, including this beautiful, thought-provoking poem by the talented @mizukiyamagen.bsky.social Love this title. And I got to the end then went right back to the beginning to devour every word again.
52% of Palm Springs voted for Trump. (And they voted for him all three times he ran, with the highest numbers in 2024.) Maybe they should have thought about the consequences of that choice before they marked those ballots.
