Voting for the Hertfordshire Museums Object of the Year closes this Sunday: buff.ly/7qUYq6M
This belonged to Private Wedd from Royston, who was captured when Singapore fell to the Japanese in 1942. He transformed his mess tin into a record of survival, engraving the places that marked his ordeal.
