definitely too humid for me too though, as others have said here, i'll take my 'hurts when you breathe' Vermont air over that.
i mean you all have the best and most diverse salamanders on the planet and that's got to count for something. Also the fireflies.
And other stuff too. but seriously.
Mayor Lewis has been warned not to publicly speculate about the irregularities behind Kent's capture by the Gotoro Empire"
but how concerned is Susan Collins?
"i am not aware of any inappropriate behavior by Mayor Lewis on Ginger Island, those were baseless accusations made during the election"
"i have no comment on Mayor Lewis's statement that the Emperor of Gotoro is a 'really wonderful leader. The sales of ancient fruit wine have been very high this year."
"at Joja Mart everyone will get a three layer backpack for just 2000 gold in 2026, never mind the collapsed path to the mine"
"The results of the town fair booth which awarded the win to Shane's solitary pepper popper plate were completely unbiased and can be trusted"
"i don't know anything about the events around Pierre's General store but if a joja mart employee really left Mayor Lewis's shorts in there it would be inappropriate"
i hope you had purple rock candy for Abigail to eat and that when giving gifts you held them over your head first.
oh yes i would compulsively draw topographic maps of imagined places and i still do, it's very soothing!
doesn't sound very mindful. wtaf
yeah i'm from the sub-asterism where stories and media and songs are super important and i repeat them even where people don't know what i mean. Like i also just put a She-Ra GIF on another of your posts. but yeah. Someone accuses him of making up a word, which he did, so he says that
I was just thinking of something similar today and it always brings to mind Marvel Thor saying "all words are made up". It's just a category that's useful until it isn't, and depends on who it is useful to (the person affected or the person controlling them).
the thing about year round standard time is people can still wake up an hour earlier if they want to and it doesn't work in reverse with year round daylight 'savings' time
We should have learned from crypto and those non fungible ape things. Did those make anything better? of course not.
It seems to be in some sort of zoo or terrarium which means he's basically already in jail. Maybe that's why.
In most cases i don't even think the 'ai' is replacing workers for getting stuff done. I think it's an excuse by the CEOs gutting the country to lay off employees, but the AI doesn't actually do their jobs. The jobs just don't happen any more or are done much slower and worse. It's enshittiffication
Unless there's immediate correction, any remaining US tech edge will soon be dead.
the USA obsession with fossil fuels and generative 'AI' is not only unethical because it hurts people and messes up the climate and ecosystems. It's also just a huge dead end. We are placing way too many resources in this garbage while other countries move on to better things. This stuff is useless.
i don't understand why you think being an arrogant dingbat makes you seem smart. it doesn't. it just makes you still seem wrong, but also rude. I'm just going to mute you, you are a waste of time, not even worth blocking.
as for western North Carolina it seems like a weird semantics argument. A hurricane can hit the coast then move over, there, it may not be hurricane strength when the center of it is over the west part of the state but it is when it hits shore and the outer bands are over it or whatever.
do you believe the San Diego storm was a fabrication, or do you just choose to ignore it?
this statement:
"I understand what happened but it’s not new: it’s not physically and scientifically possible - California or NW N Carolina."
is saying hurricacnes can not hit NW North Carolina, which is obviously false (it's false about California too)
It's impossible to know if the San Diego storm technically made landfall or not but given the water is a bit warmer now and given that one definitely could have hit full force if the track were slightly different... yes a hurricane could hit so-cal it's just very unlikely/rare.
you took a statement that someone made that was wrong (a hurricane hitting california) and extended that into a wrong statement (no hurricane can ever hit California) and then implied hurricanes never hit North Carolina at all.
no, your posts are horribly written, confusing, and excessively inflammatory. You go straight to condescension while you are wrong which doesn't do a good job covering it up. It seems like you are the one who belongs on X. But you probably aren't really worth continuing to talk to...
