Today was a Tekken day. Thought I was only gonna play Quick Match (and I did play some; it was fun, especially a super long set against an Armor King) but then decided to play more Ranked after all. I honestly thought I'd never get past Fujin but here we are. I suppose I'm getting better.

9. Papers, please (2013)
Now this is unexpected, isn't it? But I truly love this game and have cleared all there was in it too. The gameplay is simple at first but becomes challenging the more you progress, and the writing is amazing. There is even a short movie adaptation.

8. Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)
The best GTA IMO, and it isn't close. Niko is, hands down, my favorite GTA protagonist and up there among my favorite videogame characters ever. The story is phenomenal, and so is the gameplay. Back in 2008, it was revolutionary. This is Rockstar at their very best.
7. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (2007)
The best PSP game of all time IMO. Now, I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, and I haven't even finished the original FFVII. But Crisis Core is incredibly dear to me. I have beaten it many times and cleared all there was all the way to the hardest secret boss.
6. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019)
The best FromSoft game, and I won't have any objections. I beat it 4 times back to back when it came out. Everything about this game is phenomenal: the aesthetic, the characters, the music and, most importantly, the combat. It's a masterpiece. Plain and simple.
5. Dark Souls 3 (2016)
I thought about putting Dark Souls 1 here. It was the game that introduced me, among so many, to the series and the genre, and so it'll always have a special place in my heart. But, nostalgia aside, I love Dark Souls 3 more. It's the best DS game and the peak of this formula.
4. Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014)
Unlike with ME, with Dragon Age I CAN pick a favorite. Don't get me wrong, I like both Origins and DA2 very much, but Inquisition has really won my heart. Mostly due to the amazing cast of characters it has. On my first run, I actually didn't want the game to end.
3. Guilty Gear Strive (2021)
My favorite fighting game, hands down. Amazing visuals, banger soundtrack, simple but still with plenty of depth, albeit not as much as other Guilty Gears, and extremely addictive gameplay. Yeah, yeah, Xrd and +R are better in some aspects but Strive still rocks 🤘
2. Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011).
What can I say? I love Star Wars. And this game is as close to a fan's dream game as anyone has ever gotten if you ask me. Yes, it's an MMO but you can easily play it as a single-player RPG and have a ton of amazing time with the original class stories alone.
1. Mass Effect (2007).
I put the first game here as a representative of the entire Trilogy. I honestly can't pick one of them as my favorite. I love all 3 games to bits and put an unfathomable amount of time into them. This is one of the very few fictional worlds I would actually like to live in.
