2 Post guys pause right by my desk and one says to the other, "I'm worried about my elf." Given what we work on and how so many of the team are gamers, LARPers, etc I almost just let it go. But then... I have to ask. It wasn't an elf, after all, but something about software. But it COULD have been.
First day back to work after the Christmas break: I'm opening a new cheese as all the other open cheeses are not *breakfast* cheeses.

Heading home, I often wait for the same bus as a group of 11-13 year old boys. They're hard to miss, messing about w/ a football or taking silly selfies. I hadn't realised they recognised me as well until last night when they asked when our bus (1 of 4) was coming. 2 mins. One spotted my SIDE

Ever wonder how we come up with our project codenames? Today, it was due to what I'll call a "creative hearing" issue, aka me totally mishearing on the Teams call. Now a lovely sounding codename for the new game. Can't wait to refer to it in Casting meetings and see it on many email subject lines. 😄
Seeing a lot of new faces in reception today for auditions, thanks to some deliciously diverse characters in a new game. They look a little nervous and I don't want to throw them before they go into studio but, Oh! The possibilities that may be coming your way! Welcome to videogames.
