Here is the first consensus-based core outcome set for airway management research, with agreed definitions and measurement instruments.

This will harmonise evidence synthesis and improve the translatability of findings to improve clinical care.

Bougie or stylet: what to use when the chips are down?

Is it truly possible to consistently and deliberately shape a bougie to fit a hyperangulated blade?

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Having always allowed parental presence during resuscitation in the #PedsICU, I can see the benefit, assigning a PICU attending to be with the parent is a key part. Definitely not for every family, but an option to be present could go a long way.

So this is the new great ideaπŸ€”

I’m pretty sure if Sarah had seen a GP she wouldn’t have needed to have a CT scan, no need to speak to the ENT registrar & yes it could be managed in the community

Why does NHS England always underestimate the skills of GPs?
