Favorite book for new Practitioners?
I think Copenhagen's Hermetica is one of the best books for understanding some of the base patterns of magic. I don't think there are rules for magic so much as Patterns and connections. Understanding Patterns and Connections gets you far in magic

A bronze knife

My two favorite are a bronze knife I had made by an artist I told to do what he thought was best. The other is an ironwood staff from sweat lodge cast offs that I put a saw tuning hammer head on. The hammer head is from a place generations of my family have worked and ties to my mundane job.

You cannot decide if you are actually making a safe space for others. You can do your best and try to create a safe space but the ultimate decision about if you're a safe space is not up to you.
It sucks but too many people have declared themselves a safe space and they are in fact not.

This is why keeping quiet is so important in magic. I have punch, my Magic works but if enough people disbelieve or evil eye a working of mine it creates headwinds that can kill the spell. Or they can change the outcome or make it essentially useless

Day 11 how do I deal with Skepticism. I don't tell people about the work I am doing while I'm doing it. Magic is probability and taking a hand in creation. All humans do this to some degree. If I want/need something to happen other people can influence the outcome if they know about it

I don't have a favorite moon phase. I do pay attention to the moon phase for magic.
I dial in my magic by Sunrise and Sunset. Sunrise for things I want to create, Sunset for things I wish to go away.
I also pay attention to the Chaldean planetary Days and hours. In simple terms••

How do I connect with the Elements?
Every Morning I pore breath them into and out of me 3 times.
It cleans me and tunes me to them.
I go in reverse Hermetic order.
Earth, Air, Water, Fire.

My experience tells me Spirits and Daimons feel the same way

Day 8 prompt,
The one superstition I believe in is knocking on wood, three knocks. If people say something and I don't want it to go haywire. I knock on wood.
Knocking on wood seems to keep old Murphy and his law away.
In fact after typing this I knocked on wood. Three times in fact.

The picture is the charm of protection I have been using to guard windows and doors for 25 years with great success. It's simple and uses the energy of the Sun and Moon to power it.
I know now that it means Malkuth if you remove the dots. I lucked into it.

Day Prompt. I have one permanent altar dedicated to the three main Gods, the rest are work specific. I dial the altars into the spirits I'm working with once the work is done I disassemble them.
My spell work altar I have something to represent each element plus the work.

Day 4 prompt, I use intention to build spells. What I'm aiming for, what do I have on hand, can I work better timing.

Day 5 prompt, I cleanse myself by pore breathing all 4 elements 1 at a time

I took part last year, this year I will follow the prompts.
Day 1, I am a Witch because either I figured out the other world or I would go crazy... Well less useful any way.

Day 2 I was given a knife for hunting but used it for witchy stuff as well.

I find value in going to Witchy Cons and listening to different speakers on subjects I know nothing to very little about.

I think that is unfair to the Devil...

I have found this to be a boon.
My wife knits and made a knit wash cloth in the color of the car she wanted. Once done the car showed up.
Art/crafts/magic spring from the same well.
