自分は少女漫画に出自があるのでメカとか得意じゃない。でもSFはメカと背景が肝なので逃げてはいけない。
そんな苦手意識を持ちながら、格闘して、このカットは1コマに数日かかってる。キャラ頁なら1枚数時間で描けるのに。
編集部から「こんなに時間かけてたら生活できなくなります」って言われたけど、だから他の仕事を受けて生活を支えながらヤマトを描いてるんだ！とは返さなかった。いいんだよヤマトなんだから。
とか言ってると、また出渕さんからまたいじられそう～。
