My #trachea and my #esophagus are having a competition over which can be the most irritated, and I’m like guys, come on, you can just be a little bit irritated, you don’t need to work so hard
We all hate the time change, and this is your semi-annual reminder that permanent standard time is better than permanent daylight time

it’s only a sandwich if it comes from the town of Sandwich in Kent, England. Otherwise, it’s just sparkling finger food.

If you don’t like the news, go out and buy some of your own

I keep reading about Platner and I figure the one thing that’s certain is that nobody from Maine would care about my opinion whatever it were, so I’m not going to bother developing one.
I have the solution: the clock resets to 6:30 am at the moment of every sunrise, and depending on the time of year the days are slightly longer or shorter than 24 hours.

To be fair at that time of year sun is basically a theoretical concept in Vancouver
I just sent my daughter off to her elementary school. I don't have words for the absolute horror of my watching my own government carry out such a monstrous act. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/01/w...

The bad thing about the Sierra Club is that it's a democratic, bottom-up organization where chapters and groups (subchapters) are free to express opinions even if they’re not the position of the club as a whole. (2/2)

the party that wants to require ID to vote abruptly invalidating a thousand people’s IDs overnight seems like a pretty giant flashing red light
I don’t expect a lot from marketing swag but it doesn’t speak well of your company if it isn’t fit for purpose. Sleep masks should not be white and thus let much of the light through.
CW: transphobia.
See, this is why it can be painful to know too much history.🫤
This post implies that what is happening in Kansas is *similar* to what the nazis did.
But it's not just similar. It's *identical*.
In 1933, nazis revoked trans people's documents. Before 1938.

I’m working on a ballad about skin cream. I came up with it in a topical song workshop.
It occurs to me that if you filmed the original version and the reboot version of a TV show at the same time, you could save a lot of money on sets and props and such.
Twice a week most weeks. My 5 year old loves the park and wants to go back.

To keep the number of universities low enough to avoid clutter, there’s an enrollment threshold of 15,000.
I’m curious to learn what would be a landmark to show at SFSU and how it would fit in the very constrained San Francisco geography.
