I think I'm in an appropriate emotional headspace to finally start watching Frieren season 2.

Are they just pretty wings? I wonder if they got a good name for them. I can't judge it harshly without knowing the ingredients.

One thing I'm noticing in the Freeza fight is that before Krillin gets popped, Goku is just being goofy. He didn't have to witness the near extinction of the Nameks so to him it's just a challenge. He doesn't appreciate the stakes at all until his friend dies for it. I never caught that before.

I'm rewatching DBZ. The first time with the English dub since I started at 12 with the Ocean dub and mostly watched the original subbed after that. You want me to believe Freeza knows what cowboys and limes are? Come on, guys. Come on.

I usually don't watch westerns but man, The Quick and the Dead (Sam Raimi) is great. Raimi has so many quirky moments in his movies but he's always got such perfect shots. True craft.

I never see anyone mention smaller details like this but once you see them you never stop seeing them. For me it's Remake RE4 Leon's mouth. It doesn't move like a mouth, it moves like lips added over someone's jaw.

That's how I viewed Bloodborne, most people became large dogs while others with greater will and standing became other, much darker creatures to reflect how they struggle with or justify their actions. I'd love to see a setting actually expand upon this.
