I’ve been thinking a lot about Murkowski’s vote. It contains, in one action, so much that defines our pathetic political moment:

Neguse: Only in Washington, D.C. could politicians come to the floor and brag about cutting $9 billion from rural radio stations while two weeks ago they voted to increase the deficit by $4 trillion. Spare us these lectures.

That's a real question from Frank Bisignano...the commissioner of Social Security.

Millions of Americans depend on Social Security. They should be able to trust that the head of the agency even knows what the job is.

BREAKING: AOC on GOP bill:

Republicans are saying that these cuts will be reinvested into Medicaid for people who "deserve" it.

If that were true, the budget would stay the same. But that's not what's happening. Why?

Because down the hall, they are trying to finance tax breaks for billionaires.
