I suppose Borisov has quieter scenes that allow the film to linger on his performance (the smoking scene, the ending), whereas Eydelshteyn’s performance is a bit more “one note” within the more chaotic part of the film.
I wonder how many people from now on are going to be unable to watch THE WIZARD OF OZ as it was intended, as a simplistic good/evil girl’s adventure, and instead burden it with WICKED’s backstories that the original never intended to have.

I feel like it’s an example of the adultification of kid culture. Kids are even being priced out of toys now. No wonder they just spend all their time gaming and online, what else are they supposed to do?
Do kids just not play with action figures now? I was in Hamleys yesterday and the individual TMNT and Avatar figures were £25 each! And I’m not talking McFarlane collectibles here. Gone are the days where you could go in with your pocket money and buy like 2 figures.
