Bertieβs arrived with Clare & will have all he needs to live happily. He has lymphoma but is doing well and whatever happens, we are there for him. His story can be found on our website.
Thank you for keeping the charity in a position where we can support the long term costs of caring for Bertie.

A view from up a hill. A lake is in the valley and the surrounding mountains are snowcapped.
A view from up a hill. A large lake is in the bottom of the valley with a smaller lake visible in the distance.
A lakeside view surrounding by mountains. Some hills in the distance are covered with snow.
A view across a lake to some hills. There is blue sky.

I just canβt believe Murphy, having literally built a career on the back of a massive LGBT+ following just turned on them because she allowed the internet to lobotomise her like it has so many.
Brown clee
My oldest memory of walking the hills of Shropshire is as a small child on Brown Clee, and I always like to visit when I can. This is the view along the ramparts of Nordy Bank hill fort, with Abdon Burf - the highest point in #Shropshire - on the right.
Pen and ink drawing of Nethermost Pike from Fairfield. With High Crag left and Helvellyn overtopping, and Catstycam peaking above Striding Edge.
Pen and ink drawing of Blencathra from the trig column on Clough Head.
Wooden stepped ladder leading up to a pedestrian gate in a dry stone wall. Either side of the ladder is green bracken. On other side of the gate is more bracken and low grassy hill in sunlight.
Frondy stilin' above Troutbeck.
Metal sign reading Please... No stone throwing while anglers are in the water. It is in front of a concrete structure of two parallel low walls by a wide tree lined river.
Are anglers fair game once they've left the water? There will be reasons for this sign
Stile and dog gate in Little Langdale. One for @lakesstiles.bsky.social
More excellent stilin' from Lakeland's best valley (might be biased as I lived there...)
I am starting to get jealous now π
