We have gone from 15 degC yesterday to snow on the fells this morning in Cumbria.

New Westmorland and Furness Way walking route announced Hikers will be able to tackle the 120 mile (193km) trail which will take eight to 17 days.

Brown clee

My oldest memory of walking the hills of Shropshire is as a small child on Brown Clee, and I always like to visit when I can. This is the view along the ramparts of Nordy Bank hill fort, with Abdon Burf - the highest point in #Shropshire - on the right.
