"REVERENCE" (2025-)
the birth of a new #personalproject
it's an honour to introduce a project i have been longing to bring into reality for what feels like an eternity. some things just take time, and perhaps that is exactly where the beauty in it lies. text + more: instagram @lauraskogphotography
"you may have eyes, but you cannot see"there is beauty everywhere and in everything, you just need to want to find it, learn to see it, and allow it to teach you #nevernotphotosketching
Rejection is redirection. Read that again.

PSA to anyone doubting their work, their idea, or themselves: IT matters. YOU matter!
I live by the saying "Zweifeln ist Sterben". It directly translates from German: "To Doubt means/is To Die." Give yourself the best shot you have - and don't give up.
Submitted a series to an exhibition opportunity that was sent my way the past week... I'm so emotional. This specific series has profoundly impacted me personally and professionally over the past few years - truly shaping me as a human being. Never in my wildest dreams did I see all this coming -

iphone photosketching the magical morning light in our local park.. what a beautiful world.
simple things in life - beautiful weather, sitting in the park with a coffee and snack.. oh, and a good book. joy.
I had a good cry (ha) after learning that that would be the first art piece that I sold. Can't help thinking that the world is full of miracles and messages. A truly special moment for me. Thank you for everyone that made this moment (these moments!) come true. :)
During the opening night, my very first artwork I sold was one I took during my period of grief over a significant loss in my life, last year. The passing of my grandfather. His connection to nature, walking, the forest is what led me to take that photograph the way that I did. Connection.
Wrapping up an exciting week, what a milestone. I had a wonderful opening night for my first solo exhibition as an artist & got to celebrate with my loved ones. Additionally, I just went live on my website with my variety of limited editions and 3 prints for sale. Grateful for this new chapter!
i want to express my deepest appreciation and give my thanks for this wonderful opening night of my first solo exhibition.
words don't do justice to the ocean of emotions i find myself in right now. thank you, truly. i'll collect my thoughts and self & be back soon.

My camera is my tool, a mirror, a gift - my photographs are reflections and fragments of my soul. Never underestimate the power of introspection and connection to the space we find ourselves in. #photography
Thank you! Will gladly look into it ππ»
I thank you for allowing me to grow. I thank you for never silencing, your voice led a way through the darkness. You were with me, all along. Do not fear what you don't know. As the universe reveals the undeniable, unbreakable, red thread to you; have faith in connection, the narrative, in yourself"
