They’re going to say “well, it’s a kinetic war now, but it’s been a cyber war for decades” as one of the pretextual justifications.
Surely Republicans, who spent decades crassly singing “Bomb Iran” to the tune of Beach Boys songs would never have launched a war with Iran if not forced to by Netanyahu. Certainly not Donald Trump, who during his first term withdrew from the JCPOA with Iran & assassinated Iranian military leaders.
Republicans don’t care about the troops. They see military service members as props. They cut health care and community support and pensions; they cut food accessibility resources for enlisted members.

Oil cost situations are getting worse much faster than I expected, and it does seem like targeting oil is part of the Iranian strategy (following Azerbaijan strikes) in addition to US incompetence.

The administration can use the SPR to lower prices, and I suspect they will if the price goes up toward $90/b (currently ~$84/b), but TBH the crunch here *plus* the crunch in Venezuela as the post-Maduro gov't struggles could do real damage.
