the lesson here is don't trust influencers, not "this one is bad." don't get your news and politics information from influencers, because they only chase what gets them more followers and more money, and their ultimate interest is in building their platforms

"There is no data showing this is true" is just... false? We did a study less than two years ago showing a pre-eviction notice CAN help! If you want to say you disagree with the study that's one thing, but it's another to deny that any data exists.

Good to know these organizations have the capacity to come together as one voice on behalf of the Mayor, considering I’ve never seen them come together at City Hall on behalf of our unsheltered residents as we’ve been fighting for them the past 4 years.

If you want adults in Minneapolis to be able to access free and public citizenship, GED, English, and job skills classes, you need to save MPS Adult Education. Please read this thread and meet the educators and students who keep the promise of education for all at Davis Center at 4:30 TOMORROW, 3/10

I used to work remote with Londoners and quickly learned any trip over *90 minutes* was grounds for staying overnight. Did get a similar reaction from some East Coast coworkers, so maybe everyone but the Midwest is soft w/r/t travelling because we have limited choices.

Guess What Moderate Democratic Voters Aren’t Anymore? Moderate. Two new polls suggest that moderate Democrats, too, want higher taxes on the rich and some measure of economic populism. Moderate isn’t what it was in 1992.

Moderate Democrats with columns in newspapers are constantly saying the Democratic Party is way too liberal on "social" issues. Moderate Democratic voters in real life do not feel this way. With some polling data from @gelliottmorris.com and @dataforprogress.org. newrepublic.com/article/2074...

Gullible, Cynical America The trouble with believing anything and nothing at the same time

The data economy has made us dumber in ways that also make us vulnerable to authoritarian takover. We are have become both cynical and gullible in the sense we think we are too jaded be fooled and as a result are tricked more easily www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, are two leaders in Minnesota who truly embody what it means to be of community, in community, in how they show up and care for their neighbors.

I'm honored they have endorsed my campaign for US Senate.

I’m at this place 1-4 times a week and have never seen this many cars parked in illegal loading zones, next to fire hydrants, etc. There’s at least $1k in free city revenue sitting riiiigghhttt there.

As someone that was justifiably subjected to 1 of the 732 warnings on 18th & Central and also traverses that street frequently via various forms of transportation, I'm a big fan. Commence the finger-wagging.

Having a convo w a friend and we’ve netted out on the fact that the fascism isn’t really so much ideological as much as it is expedient for propping up the criminal class currently running the world. The defense sales and development deals w Saudi Arabia, who will now will be supplying oil to all.

Amen. The decent thing for Angie Craig to do, to show she respects the people of MN and the work we're putting in to protect our neighbors, is to drop out of this primary. We have an excellent candidate for Senate, and it's not you Angie.
