I remember the fight we had at my first startup, a ridesharing company, to avoid using the verb “book” a ride because it felt too transactional.

We went with “arrange a ride” which was awk but reflected our intended values.

Gotcha. Yeah the best bios I feel combine some unique way of framing someone’s background and includes not just work accomplishments but fun personal facts so I was wondering what you were giving it

“And you needed to have a book or magazine to pass time while you waited for websites to load on 14.4K dial up”
