Seriously wild times we are living in. If you've been following this OpenClaw agent matplotlib story unfold.
OpenSource (as all other things) are starting to get uncooked with AI.
It was a super bowl move to use them as visual symbolism for sure.
This is the reason for the electricity poles in Bad Bunny Superbowl Halftime Show
Bad Bunny uses electricity poles because in Puerto Rico they symbolize a broken promise; modern life that collapses in storms. After Hurricane Maria, the wires showed who was neglected, who waited in the dark, and who power actually serves.
"All of this amounts to almost masochistic levels of economic self-sabotage."

We should be terrified of who the next new 19,000 ICE and CBP officers will be. Are you watching the news and excited to rough up abuelas, hog-tie the guy cutting the lawn down the street, or manhandle a member of Congress? Apply today! www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/four-fears...
"The takeaway from this study is that if you give adults an entirely inauthentic task and access to ChatGPT, theyβll let the robot do the work and save their energy for something else."
We should study the best uses of AI in learning, not the worst.

Assuming we make it through the next couple of decades, this will be an incredible image for future historians/students of the Trump era
Trump Keeps Up Breakneck Pace of Executive Orders
Amid the Chaos, Trump Has a Simple Message: Heβs in Charge
Maybe it's just me but I really don't think the @nytimes.com is willing or able to meet this moment. These are the lead stories on the paper's website so far today. Chaos was first, now its breakneck speed. Nope, this ain't it. 1/

I love advent!
In anthropology, we often refer to this impetus as "the Tyranny of Taxonomy." By virtue of forcing various phenomena into categories that can be quantified, you create the illusion that such categories are "real." Rather than methods through which to think about similarities and differences.
