It’s been an age since i posted for #seabirdsunday i was up at Troup Head last week & its great to see the #gannets starting to come back on the cliffs with some courtship behaviour starting. Check out the colour change in the pupil of one of the pair (as a result of its exposure to bird flu)!
🍩DYK Small Spotted Catsharks are known to curl up into a protective circle/doughnut shape when they feel threatened?
I have only ever seen this once diving all others have behaved like this one - not the slightest bit bothered by this neoprene clad air breather!

I am so pleased with how this went yesterday, I have done many cleans-ups in Aberdeen over the years, this one had unusual challenges (following threats from politically motivated groups - yes really!), so great to see how the community came together!
